Enhance Your Smile with
Porcelain Veneers in Costa Rica
If you are looking to improve the aesthetics and functionality of your teeth, dental veneers are a highly effective option.
Porcelain veneers are thin, custom-made shells designed to cover the front of your teeth, providing a natural and harmonious appearance. Unlike crowns, veneers require minimal or no wear on the original tooth, preserving its structure and health.
This treatment not only improves dental aesthetics, but also optimizes the bite and functionality of your teeth, while maintaining the physical properties of the natural tooth. Porcelain veneers offer long-lasting, stain-resistant, and highly aesthetic results, providing a rejuvenated, natural-looking smile.
How Does This Treatment Work?
Recreating an aesthetic and natural smile is a meticulous process that combines technique, creativity and the passion of our professional team.
The procedure begins with taking detailed impressions of the patient’s teeth, which are sent to the dental laboratory. There, custom veneers are designed that accurately mimic the shape, color and texture of natural teeth.
At Óscar Vargas Centro Dental, we use advanced smile design technology and select the highest quality materials for each case. This allows us to guarantee exceptional results and meet our goal: to give you back the confidence to smile proudly!

Dr. Vargas’ Treatment Planning
- First Appointment: Diagnosis and Personalized Planning
Dr. Vargas performs a comprehensive evaluation of the patient’s functionality and aesthetics. Treatment goals are established based on the patient’s wishes and temporary veneers are prepared to visualize the preliminary results. - Second Appointment: Try-In
The veneers are tried in the mouth so that the patient can evaluate the design, adjusting it according to their preferences before the final veneers are fabricated. - Third Appointment: Final Placement
The final veneers, made of high-quality porcelain, are cemented using modern adhesive techniques, guaranteeing a precise and long-lasting integration. - Fourth Appointment: Adjustments and Control
Final finishes are made and the functionality of the bite is ensured. In addition, care guidelines are established and regular check-ups are scheduled.
Is the Procedure Painful?
The treatment is minimally invasive, as the veneers are placed on the outermost layer of the tooth, which has no direct sensitivity. In many cases, anesthesia is not required, although it is available for the patient’s comfort.
Treatment Duration
Scientific studies support that dental veneers can last more than 10 years, provided that a correct diagnosis is made, good oral hygiene is maintained and daily care recommendations are followed. These factors are key to ensuring their longevity and maintaining an impeccable smile.
